Right to Life of Louisville is excited to announce the appointment of our new Executive Director, Shelly Green.
Shelly brings with her a strong commitment to our mission of honoring the dignity of every human person from conception to natural death. Throughout her adult life, she has worked to uphold the right of every person to be born and to fulfill his or her God-given purpose. From her leadership at Lifehouse Maternity Home to her service at SPARC-Hope, Shelly has been a tireless advocate for life.
With more than 30 years of experience in fundraising, donor development, marketing, and community outreach, Shelly brings both expertise and passion to her new role. Her professional background includes donor cultivation, event planning, and decades of work in Christian radio, print, digital, and agency settings. She has also owned and operated her own magazine and advertising agency.
Shelly has served in leadership roles with Lifehouse Maternity Home, SPARC-Hope, and WayFM, where she secured major grants, built strong donor relationships, and led record-breaking fundraising campaigns—including the most successful golf scramble in Lifehouse’s history.
Her dedication to the pro-life cause is also deeply personal. Shelly and her husband, Steve, married for more than 30 years, experienced multiple miscarriages, fertility treatments, and adoption challenges before being blessed with their son after a decade of marriage. This journey has given her a unique passion and perspective as she steps into this role.
