A primary barrier standing between children and families is the cost of adoption. That’s why Right to Life of Louisville is pleased to offer Fr. Dismas Veeneman Adoption Assistance Grants to overcome the financial obstacles of adoption so children can join loving and permanent homes.

Fr. Dismas Veeneman was a Conventual Franciscan Friar who served many years in the Louisville area. He was active in local prolife efforts, including 40 Days for Life and Right to Life of Louisville events. Himself the product of adoption, he recognized the genuine love of his birth mother for choosing life and placing him for adoption. Fr. Dismas passed away on September 18, 2021. We honor his memory through this program.
