2026 Celebration of Life Recap

Our Annual Gala was truly an unforgettable evening—one filled with joy, purpose, and a powerful sense of unity. From the moment guests arrived, the room was alive with conversation, laughter, and a shared commitment to the mission of protecting and honoring every human life from conception to natural death.

If you were unable to attend but are moved by the impact of Right to Life of Louisville, prayerfully consider making a tax-deductible contribution today. Your financial support will allow us to reach more individuals with our educational initiatives and google advertising campaign. Together we can carry this work forward with faith, hope, and love.

One of the most impactful moments of the evening came from our guest speaker, Kaya Jones, who captivated the audience with her deep personal story. Her testimony, along with her powerful warning about the influence celebrities can have on our youth, left a lasting impression and sparked meaningful reflection among all in attendance. Her message reinforced the urgency of reaching younger generations with truth and compassion.

Perhaps the most exciting news of the evening was the expansion of our Pregnant and Parenting Scholarship. This year, we were honored to award three $5,000 scholarships to local college mothers who courageously chose life for their children.

Robin Engel was the recipient of the Donna Durning Community Award. This awardhonors the legacy of Donna Durning by recognizing individuals who lead with compassion, service, and a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact and promoting the value of life throughout the Louisville area.

The Margie Montgomery Valor Award was awarded to Dr. Monica Miller of the Red

Rose Rescue movement for her unwavering courage and bold witness for life. Dr. Miller is a nationally known pro-life leader: a pioneer of the pro-life rescue movement, a veteran sidewalk counselor, who organized hundreds of pro-life pickets, rallies, demonstrations and conferences. Unfortunately, Dr. Miller’s flight was canceled the morning of the celebration, so she accepted the award virtually.

We look forward to welcoming her to Louisville later this year. These honorees embody the heart of the pro-life mission—standing with strength, compassion, and conviction.

We also shared the impact of our current Google Advertising Campaign, which
educates the public on the dangers of mifepristone and provides clarity on Kentucky’s abortion laws. As we expand this outreach—including gas pump advertising—your gift today fuels truth that protects women and safeguards the unborn.

Thank you to everyone – individuals, churches, and organizations – who has already made a financial gift to support our Celebration of Life! If you have not yet made a financial commitment, we invite you to prayerfully consider doing so today.
