SUMMARY:2026 Celebration of Life
DESCRIPTION:Right to Life of Louisville invites you to join us at our 2026 Annual Celebration of Life at the Crowne Plaza! Every year since 1974 Right to Life of Louisville has brought quality\, prolife individuals like Rep. Henry Hyde\, Dr. Alan Keyes\, and Christian recording artist Mark Schultz to the Louisville area. This isn’t just any event\, it’s a wonderful evening of food\, drink\, fellowship\, and awards! \n  \nWe are excited to welcome Kaya Jones as our featured speaker! \nGrammy-winning gospel artist Kaya Jones is widely known for her transformation from Pussycat Doll to Christian vocalist. But she also uses her powerful voice to advocate\, educate\, and inspire others. Her refreshing mix of passion and transparency makes her a sought-after keynote speaker who inspires\, encourages\, and motivates listeners. With the launch of her new podcast\, “Blessed” on her own Shiloah.tv streaming network\, Kaya is taking her message beyond the one million followers she reaches on social media. \nA staunch advocate for life\, Kaya is most frequently asked to share the story of the abortions she was pressured into having while working in the music industry. In 2024\, she headlined both the West Coast Walk for Life in San Francisco and the Rally for Life Ireland in Dublin. More recently\, she appeared on the season premiere episode of “Politely Rude with Abby Johnson\,” hosted by the pro-life champion and former Planned Parenthood clinic director. Kaya’s message of honest regret and humble redemption moves audiences with compassion that typical culture war speakers miss. Listeners leave with a renewed commitment to value the unborn and lift up the women scarred by their own choices. \nKaya’s first-hand experience in the entertainment business positions her uniquely to address the impacts of Hollywood on our society. The abuse she endured fuels a strong desire to protect young artists and children in general from predatory influences and human trafficking. Her hard-won lessons help those following in her footsteps avoid common pitfalls and navigate the industry with their standards intact. She’s passed her wisdom along to rising stars at the International Christian Film Festival\, where she was invited to host in 2024 and serve as a panelist and presenter in 2025. Forging a new path in the faith-based film industry\, Kaya will appear in a supporting role in the film “The 11th Hour\,” scheduled for release in the fall of 2025. \nYears of trying to fit the mold her handlers created have taught her to value who she was created to be\, and who those around her were\, too. Each human was made who they were intended to be\, by a God who will never leave them – a message she reiterates to a generation that desperately needs to hear it. This faith is what sustained her through difficult circumstances that have set many in Hollywood on destructive paths. She aspires to set a positive example and guard the next generation the way she wishes others would have protected her. \nUnfortunately\, Hollywood isn’t the only place that left Kaya with scars. Like many\, she’s suffered church hurt that challenged her understanding and her faith. Rather than run from the Lord\, she chased Him\, enrolling in Hebrew Bible College and diving deeply into the Old and New Testaments. She came out with a deeper\, richer understanding of scripture and a faith in Jesus that she’s eager to share. She spent several months in the Holy Land shortly after her classes ended\, volunteering her time serving local children and Israeli soldiers. Her first-hand experiences have convicted her of the need to strengthen relationships between Jews and Christians\, and to play as much of a role as possible in the process. \nBut the former Pussycat Doll has not abandoned her first claim to fame – the vocal chops with which God gifted her. In 2019\, Kaya earned a Grammy for her work with Christian artist Jason Crabb. She has her sights again set on the Grammys as she releases her first solo gospel album\, “The Royal Collection\,” in late 2025. This compilation of contemporary Christian/crossover releases has a philanthropic focus\, and one of its early singles\, “Treasured\,” is slated for use in a docufilm by the same name. The song and film are part of the Treasured Foundation’s greater\, coordinated effort to relieve suffering at Korah through job creation\, housing development\, and empowerment programs. The film will be released on her Shiloah TV streaming network later this year. \nTicket Information: Students  \n\n$75 / person ($750 / table)\n$25 / students\n\nDoors open at 6 PM\, program begins at 7 PM. SUMMARY:DEFUND DAY
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nRight to Life of Louisville is excited to team up with Live Action for a powerful national event: DEFUND DAY. \nThe pro-life movement has never been closer to defunding America’s largest abortion chain—Planned Parenthood. \n What is DEFUND DAY?\nOn Saturday\, June 28th at 10:00 AM\, pro-life Americans across the country will gather in peaceful demonstration at Planned Parenthood facilities. Together\, we will send a bold\, unified message to our nation’s leaders: \nWe do NOT want our taxpayer dollars funding the deaths of innocent children. \nThe U.S. Senate is preparing to vote before July 4th. Your presence on June 28th is critical. \nWhen we show up together nationwide\, we can amplify our voice to demand an end to federal funding for Planned Parenthood\, the largest abortion and cross-sex hormone provider in the country. \n Louisville Demonstration Location:\nPlanned Parenthood LOU \n842 South 7th Street\, Louisville\, KY 40203 \nDemonstrations at Planned Parenthood locations must be peaceful\, family-friendly\, and legally compliant. \n○ Participants are expected to follow directions from the organizers\, for their own \nsafety and for others too. \n○ Please do not park in their lot. Remain on public property. \n○ Participants should not bring any weapons to the demonstration. \n○ Participants may NOT block entrances or exits or public sidewalks\, etc. \n○ Participants may NOT enter a Planned Parenthood facility or engage with staff \nmembers\, passersby\, or Planned Parenthood clients. \n○ Participants should not engage with or touch counter protesters (e.g.\, no \nshouting\, shoving\, or fighting)\, except for self-defense in their personal judgment. \n○ Participants should follow instructions from law enforcement. \n○ Participants should be prepared to move locations if instructed by law \nenforcement or Live Action organizers\, and to leave the area if any dangerous \ndisturbances occur. \n○ Participants are responsible for their own safety\, particularly in connection with \ncomplying with directions from law enforcement or Live Action organizers. \n○ Failure to comply with these and any additionally provided directions may result \nin criminal and civil liability\, for which participants are individually responsible. \nWhy Defund Planned Parenthood?\n\nPlanned Parenthood receives nearly $800 million in taxpayer dollars every year.\nThey perform over 1\,000 abortions every day in the U.S.\nThey dispense cross-sex hormones to minors as young as 16.\nThey have been repeatedly caught covering up child sexual abuse and sex trafficking.\n\nThis is not healthcare. This is exploitation\, and it’s time to say enough is enough. \n Must Register for DEFUND DAY Today!\nBring your family and friends\, Spread the word!
